If you've been to the rest of my site, then you already know a little bit about me. This page is intended to give you a more comprehensive picture of who I am. |
For most of my life, I was a musician. I spent my formative years in the Sundowners Drum & Bugle Corps in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. After receiving my degree in music education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, I taught private music lessons for a year before joining the Army Band. While in the Army, I spent two years in the band at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, and five years in the SHAPE International Band, which is located in Casteau, Belgium |
After leaving the Army, I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and spent three years
working at a local music store before deciding to make a career change.
Since I have always been interested in the way things are put together,
and having recently discovered the joys of computing,
I decided to combine the two and seek training in Computer Aided Design (CAD.)
I enrolled in the Minneapolis Drafting Schoool and within six months
was hired as a drafter/designer. Currently, I am employed as a technical
illustrator at a company that produces trade show display booths.
